Interconnected Perspectives traces my journey as a Chinese-born American who immigrated at age 5. The contrast between memories of a compact apartment in Beijing to the openness of a suburban house in New Jersey shaped the struggle in my dual identity. The installation will have reflective overhanging structures, inviting introspection as visitors look into the horizon.
