Arborium: A Library for Living Knowledge
23 x 15 x 14.5 inches (L x W x H)
Wood, paper, illustration board, mesh, foam boards
The library was my most beloved childhood haven, but the number of visitors has decreased significantly. I imagine this design to revitalize community interactions through tending to a shared garden. The spiral atrium holds a sustainable air filtration system, collecting rainwater at the base so nature and the library sustain each other, providing a symbiotic environment and sense of home.
